Which is the best Dungeon Crawler

Which is the best Dungeon Crawler
I have not at all played a dungeon crawler. I have loved the World of Warcraft. I really love the character and cool things in that game. I know that it is not for free and it is not a offline game.. you need to pay some monthly charges. However now I am looking for a good MMO which I can play in offline time. Is there any?

Yesterday we tested the last extension date of Descent with a friend.

There is now a true RPG with a side SOTE campaign game that lasts over time.

The dungeons are smaller, there is a strategic defense / attack territories.

I much prefer the other parties that had hitherto.

Re: Which is the best Dungeon Crawler
The dungeon crawler is perhaps the most classic form of the rpg. The genre, in which several heroes make their way through a maze filled with enemies, namely finds its origins in Dungeon's & Dragons. In this role through a number of players through the dungeon master human thought-world. The combination of exploring these worlds and fighting with many enemies made the dungeon crawls quickly became a favorite aspect of the pen and paper RPG.

And like every year there are striking spot trends. Blizzard does so in 2011 (hopefully) a new Diablo game out after a long silence about the series. Interestingly enough many developers dare to compete with the number six ranking on Diablo III.

Legend of Grimrock is a dungeon crawler in all respects to the old fashioned way: naked scenarios, hordes of enemies, objects to search and experience points to gain. I had already seen the video a few days ago, looks really beautiful, especially for fans of RPG-standing! I would not have spurned the turn-based combat, but I will also like this real-time ...

Grim Rock Legend or a subsequent throw to his long-lost genre, a game developed by Almost Human. What genre contemporaries to be old and dilapidated appearance, Grim Rock should excel with detailed graphics. The game before the end of the year and is released alongside the iPhone also scheduled for PC and Mac.

Players run around in first person from a dungeon where they monsters, traps and treasures to come. Your job for your group is able to get through unscathed and gaanderweg increasingly to be found and new armor. Along the way you have the necessary puzzles to progress through the dungeon. The game will, like other titles in the genre, be recorded as a difficult title to the appropriate patience you will ask.

Claustrophobia is very good. Above all, this is a dungeon-crawler, which is also good time playing in an hour to go through between - a game no longer guaranteed. Reminiscent of the game in principle to a mix of Space Hulk and Dungeoneer. Claustrophobia is characterized by a very innovative cube mechanism, which reflects the increasing violation of even the heroes themselves. But only for two players!

I always wanted to watch it before. However, I must say of course that I've been playing very long time since after the HQ-based rules. In community there are new rules, which give the game more depth and a very different atmosphere. I have personally made my own rules again because that will bring the game a little towards D & D, but still very easy to start and maintain the basic features of the original.
