DLC ideas for Gettysburg: Armored Warfare

DLC ideas for Gettysburg: Armored Warfare
Well I am wondering that Gettysburg: Armored Warfare supposed to be a great game. the concept of the game supposed to be really great. There are lots of people who are avoiding the game just because of bugs. Now I have dedicated this particular thread to get all the users who are having suggestion for future DLC. As far as my opinion is concerned there should be different type of the color for allies into Army Skirmish rather than that of blue with different type of symbol. It would be bit easy to differentiate between both of them rather than that of having highlight for all the units on the map to figure out the army of yours in the game. the enemies in the game should be in red in color on their head when you are looking them into the RTS view. It is bit frustrating to give command and having zoom-in on the units when no one is around to attack them. when you are capturing the points then point should be displayed into blue or red in color on the mini map. There is not any issue with "RTS view but something wrong happening with the FPS view.

Well I really loved the suggestion which you have stated above especially making you team in green where as enemies should be in red. But I was expecting that blue/grey could work pout for the same. if no one is controlling then default color should be white on the minimap. I know it would be bit difficult to figure out the difference between the a White/Grey if any area is being controller by enemy or its is a non-contested control point.

Yes I do agree with you that this particular game is having great concept. According to me the developer of the game should provide an commander player for entire game which will let you know about the what a unit should do in the RTS mode. It would be really great for the clans/groups so that they can organize themselves in the game and beat the enemy easily.
Another thing is that there should be more map added at certain amount of the time through DLC. Welcome for some complex map as well like large scale town battles having naval units and playing into the most of the parts of the current battlefields. There should be improvement in the first person shooter experience. Adding something like crouch and laying down. There is lack of physical cover in the map so it won’t make the big difference and there should be nice addition if they are going to provide the same. you should view how Armed Assault 2 Operation Arrowhead was working with respect to first person department and get the some idea from there as well. Its really great as I have already stated and I am looking forward how it would be developed in the future.

The developer of the game should work on the stability and performance. There should not be lots of crashing issue once the game has been released. So it is far better than that of having DLC pack. I noticed that in RTS view mode before you are going to actually control the unit in the FPS supposed to be high rated and really stable. Also they should reduce the amount of points when you killing units in deathmatch mode. You have to concentrate on controlling ground. The battle in the game could be made far better rather than that of having territory control only.

I hope they would reduce the spawn times of the vehicles. Currently zeppelins and tanks are spawn bit quickly. however increasing into spawn time for the vehicle would increase value of them in the battlefield.

I am posting below some quick suggestion which should be improved in the game.

T
here should be better look and feel of fire as well as water effects.
Drawdistance should be improved and soldiers are becoming sprites if they are 5-10m away from the 3rd person.
I don’t found any option to change the anti-aliasing so it should be implemented.
There should be more smoother experience while switching between animations in 3rd person
destruction on stonewalls, treefences and tree should be better. Right now objects are simply getting disappeared once you have hit by vehicle.

I had great time with this particular game and according to me the new DLC pack should have some more planes, air units, AA units in the game. I know its not difficult to do them. it could be possible that the developer of the game can mod any unit in the future. I would really appreciate if they are going to provide mod tools and Steam Workshop so that we will be able to modify the game as per their requirements. There should be more scripted missions. Why I am saying because this particular game can is modable. It is having lots of potential. Just wait and watch what modders are going to do.

I was wondering about to have another artillery unit. It should have Rocket arty and should be a civil-war version of a Katyusha/BM-21. It supposed to have same kind of mechanics of the artillery units available in the game. however rather than of firing a single round it should be salvo of rockets. It should be able to blanket the area with the explosions. The disadvantage of it could be limited ammo or long time to reload. I think they should make it a light vehicle and shoot N scoot type vehicle.

Finally I wanted a aircraft which should be faster and it should be fixed-wing version of the (Whirlybird). It might drop couple of bomb at the time. It should be drive by propeller. It should not be solo or conquer the entire battlefield rather it should provide support to the infantry. You can get the idea from the flight mechanics in the game.
