Ruleset for Dungeons And Dragons Neverwinter
I have came across this game called “Dungeons And Dragons Neverwinter” and I just wanted to know that which is the ruleset in this game I mean I have heard that 4th edition will be the one but I am not sure about it. So I just wanted to clear my doubts from you all. Is there anyone who have a idea about it and who is sure about it as well. Any suggestion regarding this will be appreciated

Re: Ruleset for Dungeons And Dragons Neverwinter
As far as I know about this game it was supposed to be the 1st video game which will be using the 4E D&D rulset but it did not happen like that as it was said that the Daggerdale had stole it but NW is now using the fourth edition ruleset and this time there is no doubt on it and I am just wondering that how many of them will really turn to this game this time and i also looking forward to see the fourth edition ruleset working in a multiplayer game with the fourth edition rules they have got. I personally feel that the switch from the 3rd to the 4th edition has been appalling but not because of the rule system but because of their FR setting.

What I think is that they have really done a good job by creating the for setting and I just find it to be the core of the fourth edition as well. There are some good books on the FR as well for the player guide and the campaign guide from which the guide is in the market .The things that I have found interesting in the fourth edition are as followed:
Spellplague
New races and the kingdom
Less no of npcs.

Even I like the lack of the all the "God like" npcs as previously I hated the fact that they were found to be everywhere you turn around and that too they were just so powerful than us. I just hated the Elminster, The Chosen, Knights of Silverymoon as well as the Blackstaff but now I doubt that there will be more powerful enemies in the FR than the previous enemies but I am happy that they will be in adventure and not at every place we move and even I am liking the new races and the kingdom where where they have merged the two world for the kingdom and they have also blended the new races in to the realms and they have also provided the power struggle respectively.

Re: Ruleset for Dungeons And Dragons Neverwinter
I have got he book and I am really disappointed with it because they are not edited and edited properly and no god is having a flavor text in to their names and many of the lands and the realms are there with a very few information about it. I just hope they will work on all the lacking factor in their future edition .I think that they have just provided half of the information’s have found that the books are just not the best for the realmslore. The book is mainly focusing on the history and is based on experience of some people in different parts of th4e game rather than providing providing a good information bout the realms. I am regretting that why I have purchased this book now.

I think that the BG and the NWN games have been the attracting the people to the Forgotten Realms and a no of people who were having only a little bit idea about the game have turned in to the FR fans by now where as the D&D is primarily a PnP thing so far and compare to it the FR has been a computer game thing though it has taken a decade for it and it has also focused on the books and lastly the Drizzt series as well.
