Wishes and ideas for the next patches in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
This topic should be a summary of wishes and ideas for the next patches. I think, i am speaking for the whole community, which is using the personal computer for playing Skyrim. Here is mine wishes and ideas: I am very unhappy about the menus of Skyrim, and i am thinking, that many others feel the same way. For the pc the menus are very very uncomfortable. the most of the people are using keyboard & mouse, to enjoy the game. But also the most of the people are sad, about the (missing) design (because there is no design). The request to you, to create a comfortable menue for the pc-community, because the current menus of Skyrim are NOT user-friendly and have no atmospheric designs.
Secondly the Horses: I bought a horse for 1000. the seller said to me, that i could choose another name for my horse. Where can i make it? also, the horse is reacting good on violent events (hiding, running away), but, above all in the night, a dark horse you cannot find in the plants. i have to choose the "wait-action" to wait until the sun´s growing up to find my horse behind a tree. The horse is not displayed on the compass or doesn´t make any sounds to tell me, that it is there or there. it would be very comfortable to whistle after the horse after the danger is over. That would be very great and realistic.

Apparently enchanting needs some balancing. There's enemies disappearing through the ground after killing them, NPCs falling through the bed/chair they are on when assassinated and the finishers aren't working most of the time you assassinate someone (no idea if it's supposed to be like that or not). I've also seen some funny videos where a giants club attack sends players flying high up into the air.. In addition, I saw a dragon fly through the ground and circle back up to the air. Did it twice on the same spot. Stealth seems to need just some sort of overhaul. Or at least stealth attacks. I attack a bear with a bow, it starts running towards me, but before it's close enough to 'see' me I'm able to get 4 stealth attacks with the x3 damage.. Even though it's running straight at me..

The object physics... dear god please fix them. Nearly every single room of my game is a mess because when I open a door to some house and walk in, at times it's like an invisible bomb goes off there and all the pots, plates, vegetables and other misc items go flying across the room and I'm just standing there in awe... The inns are the worst because the items start moving around without any apparent reason again and they keep making this incredibly annoying sound in the background while I try to talk to people.

SDTV and HDTV modes. At the moment, SDTV users are getting the shaft as the far corners of the screen are not visible, and the text is way too small. I have heard that they are talking about fixing it, which is great, but I do not want the HDTV users getting the shaft due to us SDTV users. Two modes for different TV's would be awesome.

Texture problems, installing to the hard drive, lack of hot keys, quest glitches, and the screen cutoff. At the very least, they should patch the screen cutoff issue, as it makes the game virtually unplayable for a lot of people.

I would like to give an idea on two things and that is on Graphics and Gameplay: as per the graphics The scenery and backgrounds are great. But on the pc, where the performances are larger than on Xbox or PS3, objects are popping in the distance. The appeal is, to improve the graphic-performance. According to your minimal specifications, my system would just be in the list of min. qualification. But i can play Skyrim with ALL graphics at the highest level. So you really may increase the performance to get more atmospheres. The shadows in many situations are very bad. Please don´t make the failure, to prefer the consoles, because The Elder Scrolls have always been a flagship for the pc. Secondly the Gameplay: Because of the upper descriptions, the Gameplay is very good and the whole team made an awesome job. But the Gameplay feels very console-like. it´s hard to cheer in front of the screen, because the feelings are lower-epic and grudgingly.

I'm on the game needs more balance bandwagon. I can't tell you how many times I've been slaughtered walking into a room with 3 spell casters that spam the most powerful spells you can imagine non-stop. Being mostly a warrior build you can't take hardly any damage from spells even with resist potions. For example, not sure how many of you have done the Azure shrine quest; but, When you go into the star to clean it, it's full of these daedra that are all firing high level fire spells at you, even if you attempt to single one down you can't possibly kill it fast enough to get to the next target before you die. These things like that need to be nerfed drastically. I was forced to use the kill console command in order to beat that quest after dying countless times and using different methods.

I would love followers and horses, tired of them vanishing on me or permadying, if there was a command to set them as essential that would be nice. The chat commands tend to be a little buggy, when you try to click on certain dialogue choices it often will select a totally different one, even when you have the one you want highlighted.

I dont understand how the gameplay is "console-y". I play on Xbox...but I play SKYRIM on Xbox. Im a gamer...I play everything. So Im not a "console gamer" or a PC gamer. Im a gamer, and I play on both console and PC. So..I dont understand how Skyrim's gameplay, which really is similar to past games, except for combat which is far better than anything before it, feels like a console game. First of all...define "console game".
