NVIDIA partners may launch GeForce

NVIDIA has been paying close attention to every move of its tough competitor AMD Radeon HD 4890. GeForce GTX275 won't be available until April 13th according to our previous information. And later AMD brought Radeon HD 4890 launch forward to April 2nd. Of course NVIDIA never wants to be left behind, so they also accelerates the release of GeForce GTX 275.

ATI actually preparing a new high-end graphics cards, the Radeon HD 4890, which NVIDIA is suspected to answer a direct competition, the GeForce GTX 275. Thus, qu'AMD advanced the date of commercialization of its new model in April 2, NVIDIA would in turn launch its graphics card on that date.

AMD nevertheless keeps a step ahead, the technical characteristics of the Radeon HD 4890 is precisely known, and many merchants already offering the pre-order. There is talk, however, the GeForce GTX 275 for a compromise between the GeForce GTX 260 and GTX 280 are traded again, at the same price as its direct competitor.

NVIDIA quickly realized that it would need a new card to counter AMD's coming Radeon HD 4890. AMD looked to target the performance space between GeForce GTX 260 and GTX 285 so NVIDIA presented a design proposal to partners, GeForce GTX 275. There won't be any reference cards of GTX 275 as far as we've been told, but instead graphics card manufacturers get to license the chip and make their own GeForce GTX 275 cards.
